Primer Día de Clases/First Day of Classes

Hola a todos,

Hoy fue el primer día de clases, y tengo que decir que aunque duró 7 horas, es reconfortante a hablar con maestras alrededor del mundo de los problemas en la educación y métodos para

ayudarme a enseñar. Nuestras clases están en International House, un edificio bien bonito, pero tiene una puerta peculiar, mucho como la de Alice in Wonderland (Como la llamo). La profesora es muy interesante; se llama Geni (se pronuncie Hen-Ee). Hay cinco estudiantes en la clases de los que soy el único hombre...normal. Puedo hablar más sobre mis clases más tarde.

Hi everyone,

Today was the first day of class in International House, and I must say, although it was 7 hours long, it was refreshing to talk to teachers from around the globe about the problems in education and better methods to help me teach. Our classes are in International House, a

rather nice building, but it has a peculiar door, much like Alice in Wonderland (as I call it). The teacher is very neat; her name is Geni (Pronounced Hen-Ee). There are five students in the class of which I am the only guy....normal. I can talk about class more later.

y encontramos el Arco de Triunfo y un parque bien bonito! Sacamos muchas fotos en este parque y pensamos a comer allí hoy por el almuerzo. En el parque hay una fuente muy bonita. Se llama Ciutadella, el parque. Almorzamos también con un bocadillo de...listo....jamón y ques

During the break, Kat and I explored the city and found the Arc du Triumph and a very nice park. We took a lot of pictures in this park and plan on eating there for lunch today. In the park there was a gorgeous fountain. The park is called Ciutadela. We ate lunch as well; I had a sandwich of....ready....ham and cheese.

Bueno, es todo de que me acuerdo. Entonces, escribiré más mañana.

Anyway, that's everything I remember from the day. I will write more tomorrow.
